Town Hall Update - Fundraising Meeting 2nd June

A committee has been formed and work has begun on getting a constitution written and putting in place the business framework that will make this project a success.

In the meantime none of this will be possible without fundraising. We are being asked to take on full responsibility for the building and the car park so in order to get htings moving we will need to raise some money.

To kick this off a fundraising meeting will tkae place on Wednesday 2 June at 7.30pm in the Lesser Hall (that's the smaller hall at the top of the stairs). If you can help in any way or have ideas for great fundraising ideas please come along.

As a community we can make this work.

The results of the campaign so far will be considered by the council on 30 June, according to The Kirkintilloch Herald. A decision will then be taken on the future of the hall.

Hi Linda yeah the main post is from last year.  The next committee meeting is this Thursday (2 June 2011) at 7.30pm in the lesser hall, if you'd like to come along.  We're always looking for helpers and ideas  :-)
